At the beginning of the year we visited Cley Marshes in lovely weather and walked along the beach to the new Gillmour hide affording great views of Pintail ducks.
In February we enjoyed a local walk to Buckenham Marshes where we witnessed large murmurations of lapwing and many wintering wigeon.
March saw us return to the Hawk and Owl Trust at Sculthorpe which produced a long list of species. This is one of our favourite reserves for both woodland and water birds.
We plan to continue mixing local walks with longer trips and are delighted that our group continues to grow and flourish.
Thank you to all of you who support it.
